KAWARTHA ANTIQUE POWER LAWN TRACTOR PULL

                                    GENERAL RULES and REGULATIONS

  1. All pullers must wear a helmet when pulling.

  2. Tractors be in sound and presentable condition.

  3. Tractors must have working brakes.

  4. All attachments--such as cutting decks--must be removed.

  5. No dual wheels or tire chains allowed.

  6. Nothing allowed to drop from the tractor. This includes parts or fluid. In the event that something is dropping during the pull, the pull will be stopped immediately.

  7. All moving parts on the tractor must be adequately guarded.

  8. Draw bar height is 12" maximum for all classes, and will be checked.

  9. All weights are to be fastened securely to the tractor wheels and/or chassis.

  10. Tractor weight includes the driver.

  11. The tractor may be entered in a maximum of two classes.

  12. There is a maximum of two drivers allowed per tractor.

  13. Participants under 16 years of age must have adult accompaniment.

  14. All participants must sign a liability waiver and have read and understood the rules and guidelines. Participants under 16 years of age must also have an adult sign the form.

  15. Class winners may jump to the next weight class and pull with no additional weight.

  16. Each class winner is qualified for the open class pull.

  17. Open class is open to any age of participant. All other class participants must be between 10 ans 21 years of age as of January 1st current year.

  18. A hook-up fee will be applied to each driver and each class tractor is registered in. Fee to be paid at time of registration.

                    

                                                      CLASS 1  LAWN

                                               Class 1A -- Up to 500 lbs.

                                            Class 1B -- 501 lbs to 700 lbs.

                                                SPECIFIC GUIDELINES

  1. Tractor must be completely factory stock

  2. Only factory supplied wheel weights can be used.

  3. No additional weights allowed.

  4. No loaded tires allowed.

  5. Turf type tires only.

  6. Tractors must pull from the original drawbar.

  7. No governor override allowed.

  8. Operators to be a minimum of 10 years of age as of January 1st of the current year. (must have care and control of tractor).

  9. Operator can be no older than 21 years of age as of January 1st the current year.

                                                           STOCK

                                           Class 2A -- Up to 600 lbs.

                                       Class 2B -- 601 lbs to 800 lbs.

                                     Class 2C -- 801 lbs. to 1000 lbs.

                                               SPECIFIC GUIDELINES

  1. Tractor must have original engine with no modifications.

  2. Additional weights other than factory supplied wheel weights are allowed, this includes fluid loaded tires, provided they are mounted according to general guidelines.

  3. Bar tread and ATV type tires are permitted.

  4. No governor override allowed.

  5. "Anti-flipbars" are recommended.

  6. All weights mounted ahead of center line of drive axle.

  7. Driver must be 10 years old as of January 1st of current year.

  8. If electric fuel pump is used the machine must have a dead man tether attached.

                                     

                                                         MODIFIED

                                             Class 3A -- up to 600 lbs.

                                          Class 3B -- 601 lbs to 800 lbs.

                                         Class 3C -- 801 lbs to 1000 lbs.   

                                              SPECIFIC GUIDELINES  

  1. Tractors must have a 4 cycle lawn tractor type engine.

  2. Tractor can have a maximum of 2 cylinders.

  3. Tractor is to have a standard lawn and garden look.

  4. "Anti-flipbars" are required.

  5. Minimum of 10 years of age as of January 1st current year. (must have care and control of tractor).

  6. Weights may be mounted behind drive axle.

  7. If electric fuel pump is used machine must have a dead man tether attached.

 

                                            VINTAGE LAWN TRACTOR

  1. Looks old.

  2. Factory wheel weights only.

  3. Minimum 10 years old.

  4. Must have working brakes.

  5. Must have all guards in place and secured.

  6. No cutting deck.

  7. No fluids leaking from tractor.

 

                             CLASS 5  OPEN LAWN and UTILITY TRACTOR

  1. Maximum 1200 lbs.

  2. Limited to 3 cylinder engine.

  3. Must be lawn tractor based.

  4. Stock tractor must meet Class 2 specs.

  5. Modified tractor must meet Class 3 specs.

  6. All participants must be able to control their tractor at all times.

  7. If electric fuel pump is used the machine must have a dead man tether attached.
